Using Nessy Numbers Jack can now tell the time using an analogue clock! 😀 He has really struggled with understanding it however I’ve tried to show him. The programme is aimed at children who have dyslexia and has really clicked with him. Using it he is also well on the way to be able to do times tables properly, rather than just adding to get the answer. Awesome!
I am about half way through the online course I am creating now. Looking forward to taking a few days off afterwards and we are hoping that the weather will be nice so we can go to Brighton for the day. Hoping to collect some nice stones from the beach and I am sure Jack will too!
This week has been super busy but somehow feels like we have got very little done! I think a lot of it is down to the fact that we have had two busy weekends in a row so haven’t had that free time.
We have been able to harvest lots of raspberries from the garden this week – I’m picking a good handful each day. Jack has mostly been eating them as Rowan isn’t keen. Some have gone into smoothies too.
Kids club and the Pokemon trading card club are going great and Jack has made some friends at both. We are thinking of going to `Party in the Park in Woking on Saturday but I guess that will depend on how Jack feels after Pokemon club.
I am looking forward to getting my current project finished and published (online jewellery making course) and then taking some time off. Wanting to have a good clear out of the house, do some long walks and also about due some timetable planning. I got a good learnign with Lego eBook yesterday through NutureStore that has lots of good ideas Im hoping to use. As Jack is enjoying this one I may buy another set of Great Artists lessons as well. I think there are three sets so kinda sad that we will have completed them all but perhaps we can apply the ideas and work on other artists instead – I have been thinking that local artists may be a nice idea.
