Charity race featuring giant ducks!
Great stay in a lovely AirBnB, loads of sea time and some history and bug hunting at the castle. Tried out crazy golf (Jack picked the hardest course!) and Emily won a free game with a hole in one!
Late last night I discovered Passengers next busking date would be at Waterloo station! Couldn’t be more perfect.
Zoo day for kids with special needs. Rowan’s first and he loved seeing all the animals in the flesh.
Today we went to the Living Planet Centre in Woking. It turned out to be a shorter visit than I expected but the activities and quizzes mere enjoyed.
Today Rowan and I made these mini loaf cakes using homemade oat flour. We had to use regular sugar as that’s all we have but I reduced the amount (I often do with cakes and they still bake and taste fine).
They were lovely, springy and moist ❤ definitely a hit and will make them again. The texture was really nice and they didn’t have that grainy feel gluten free cakes often have. I may try the recipe as a large cake in future. We’re going to have the rest with custard tomorrow.
